¡¡¡¡Xuzhou
Dongbao Food Corporation Limited is one of the first Sino-Korean
joint ventures in Fanjialou Town. It lies the north of Qige Road
-part of Xuxhou-Fengxian Highway, covering an area of 8mu. It
has a total investment of 300,000$. Being one of the leading firms
in processing and exporting special fruits like burdock and wild
cabbage, it has a 800 ton cold store and other facilities as well.
¡¡ The construction of the company started on April 18th,1999.
26% of the investment came from the Hangcheng Trade Corporation
Limited(Korea), 49% from Ynagzhou Dngbao Food Corporation Limited
and 25%from Liu Zengbao-a farmer from Qige village. 1.5 million
yuan investment has been conducted. A cold store, a 800 m2 processing
workshop and 500 m2 work house have been built. A 50KVA transformer
has been installed.
¡¡ The company has started its production during construction.
It offers jobs for over 100extra labors and has more than 30regular
burdock suppliers. Early this year, it has exported 600 tons of
burdock to Korea. It attached much importance to the raw material
processing. In addition, it imported from Japan advanced mechanical
equipment. Different kinds of finished product of burdock were
exported to Japan and Korea. By the end of this year , it can
export 3500 ton burdock production value 25 million yuan. The
profit will be 6 million yuan.
