¡¡¡¡Feng county locates in the northwest of jiangsu province , which
Geographical location
is a joint point of jiangsu , shandong ,henan and anhui province . it lies in the center of huaibei economic zone , belonging to xuzhou ,jiangsu province . the county governs 14 towns , including fengcheng , shunhe , shouxian , huankou , shizhai , huashan , fanlou , liangzhai , dashahe , songlou , wanggou , and changdian , 582 village neigborhood committees , 4174 village groups and 220688 families . its population totals up to 952760000 ,among which 886598 has rural residence registration and 59499 has non-rural residence registration . there are 23 nationalities in the county : han ,hui ,man , tujia , zhuang , miao , buyi , yi , zang ,dong ,weiwuer , chaoxian , menggu , dai , bai ,dawoer , xibo , hasake , li , lagu , pumi , hani ,and caijia . among these nationalities , the population of han nationality is 950742 , taking up 99.7% of the total population , that of hui minority is 2018 , taking up 0.21% of the total population density is 659 per square kilometer .
¡¡¡¡The geographical coordinate of feng county is 34¡ã24¡ä10¡å-34¡ã56¡ä20¡åN and 116¡ã20¡ä30¡å-116¡ã5¡ä23¡åE . on its west is the eastern part of henan province , and on its south , it has xiao county and dangshan county of anhui province as its neighbors . on its north , it is joined with shan county , jinxiang county and yutai county in southern part of shandong province . on its east , it is adjacent to pei county and yutai county in southern part of shangdong province . on its east , it is adjacent to pei county and tongshan county of the same province . the whole county is 46.6 kilometers , in width and 59.2 kilometers in length , with a total area of 1444 square kilometers ,among which , the land area is 190100 mu (about 127000 hectare) , the water area is 28000mu ( about 187 hectares) , and the cultivated land area is 1320000 mu (about 88000 hectares ) . feng county belongs to the warm temperate zone , with a monsoon climate of semi-humidity , so it has four distinct seasons , sufficient sunlight and rainfalls accompanied by hot weather . the average temperature of the year is 13.8¡ã centigrade and the sunlight duration is 2118.4 hours . there are 210 days without frost of the whole year and the total rainfull is 782.3 millimeters with 1104 ,millimeters as the most 462 millimeters as the least .
