Xuzhou Long Yuan Foreign-trade Leather Production Limited Company was established on July 28th, 1997,which is a comprehensive and large-scale enterprise. It is the first one that all equipments were purchased abroad and mixes science-research, development, foreign economy and trade together, and meantime combining sheep leather processing and leather-clothing production wholly.
　 Total assets of the company is RMB 4.36 million yuan, fixed assets RMB 3.17 million yuan. There are 124 staff in the personnel armed department, technical members have32, including various academic fields such as, economical, engineering management and etc. In 1997, the company was certified and classified as a leading enterprise for agricultural industrialization in Feng Country.
　 The company was originally organized at the base of Xu Zhou Tannery Company. The products firstly opened up domestic market and afterwards went into the international market in varied effective way, involving intensifying internal management, importing advanced technology,greatly developing two markets, supporting the growth of breeding. The quality of new products, goat glove leather, stays in the world leading level, which were sold exclusively by Li Ming Ltd. Company. It had successively developed the water-proof glove leather and goat glove leather which have a good market prospects. The major products are exported to Italy, Pakistan, India and other countries.
　 It has the annual productive capacity of 800,000 for goat leather. Intentionally it will invest RMB10 million yuan for calf leather processing. After the completion, the productive capacity will come to 200,000 per year.
　 Historically, Feng County was the famous goat-breeding base. After the establishment, it fully operated its remarkable role, unfolding a vigorous mass campaign for goat breeding. In 1998,2 million goats were bred in the country and 1.4 million goats were put into the market. Thus the company gradually made breeding processing-sheepskin processing-leather production into a coordinated process and formed an integral whole.
